ORLANDO, Fla. (April 3, 2024) – Just like an Easter egg basket, this past weekend was full of surprises. Athletes traveled to Orlando, Florida for their chance to hunt for a AAU Championship at the 2024 AAU Elite Sports Events Easter Classic.
For more than 21 years, teams have been traveling to Florida for the AAU Elite Sports Events Easter Classic. This past weekend we saw 206 teams in total battling across 12 courts in 3 days. The games began Friday March 29, and were played until the final shot was hit on Championship Sunday, on March 31.
Over 1,500 athletes took to the hardwood over the tournament. Athletes from all over were represented: Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas.
